Sherif Zaki is an active manager of Bechtel Corporation; accountable for promoting Bechtel business model, managing business development effort, projects portfolio and studies in development phase. Sherif has been working with Bechtel for 28 years in leading management roles in eleven countries, five contents. Since he joined Bechtel in 1988 he held increasing responsibilities in project engineering, construction, project controls, business development, projects and operations management. Sherif also served as project director for Alcoa Trinidad Smelter, project director for BHPB Broadmedow Coal Mine, General Manager for Bechtel Canada, General Manager for EAM (Europe, Africa, and Middle East) Mining and Metals Global Business Unit, Board Director for BPR-Bechtel, and recently Middle East Operations Manager for OG&C GBU. Sherif received his bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering. He has a diploma of Business Administration, and Masters of Applied Engineering with high honors from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec. Sherif was elected Corporate Principal Vice President in 2009.
