AmCham Abu Dhabi Convenes Inaugural Trade & Investment Committee Meeting

AmCham Abu Dhabi convened the inaugural meeting of its Trade & Investment Committee, bringing together members and industry leaders from banking, technology, engineering, consulting, legal, and manufacturing sectors to help shape the committee’s priorities and engagement agenda for the year ahead.
Hosted at Citi DIFC, the meeting was chaired by Rula Dajani, with Gregory-Nader Zoughbi serving as Co-Chair. Contributions were also provided by AmCham Abu Dhabi leadership, including Courtney Sader, Vice Chair; Zaheer Kaiser Anis, Board Treasurer and Co-Chair of the U.S.–UAE Government Affairs Committee; and Sana Bagersh, Senior Advisor. The discussion marked an important step in establishing a structured platform for advancing U.S.–UAE trade and investment dialogue.
The session featured insights and remarks from Tanya Cole, Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs at the U.S. Mission to the UAE, who addressed the evolving U.S.–UAE commercial landscape, current trade priorities, and opportunities for deeper private-sector engagement within a shifting global environment.
Member participants included industry leaders such as Sossy Ingirkochian, Global Head of Corporate Banking and Sector Head for Education and Healthcare at First Abu Dhabi Bank; Nirmal Mull, Vice President – Growth Strategy and Operations at Parsons Corporation; Omar Al Busaidy, President for the UAE and Oman at Future Pipe Industries; Hoz Khaznadar, Business Development Manager at ILF Consulting Engineers; Abdulrahman Arar, Global Lead for License Management Services at Oracle; Liya Liu, Chief Financial Officer at Elara Financial Solutions; and Ludovico Rossi, International Business Lawyer at Gianni & Origoni.
The Trade & Investment Committee reflects AmCham Abu Dhabi’s commitment to advancing bilateral trade and investment, supporting a forward-looking U.S.–UAE economic partnership, and providing members with structured access to dialogue that shapes trade and investment outcomes across the U.S.–UAE corridor.
