Advanced Technology & AI Committee Kick-Off
April 2, 2026

AmCham Abu Dhabi convened the inaugural meeting of its Advanced Technology and AI Committee, bringing together leaders from across industry, government, advisory sectors, and enterprise operators to shape the next phase of U.S.–UAE collaboration in AI and emerging technologies.
Led by Vikraman Poduval, Co-Chair of the committee and CEO of Saal.ai, the meeting marked the formal launch of a member-driven platform focused on advancing responsible AI adoption, strengthening bilateral alignment, and driving practical, outcome-oriented initiatives.
The session featured participants from Accenture, Akin, AMIDEAST, Baker McKenzie, Baker Botts, Bear Strategies, Datadog, Emerson, Eptalex, FBC, Guideline.ai, I3H Investment, Optvance.ai, Oracle, Pro Coach Management Consultancies, Saal.ai, the U.S. Embassy, and the U.S. Consulate General Dubai, alongside AmCham Abu Dhabi.
Key remarks from the dialogue:
• AI is no longer a “future” discussion—members focused on real deployment challenges: cost, ROI, governance, and scaling beyond pilots
• Resilience surfaced as a priority—how organizations use AI to operate through disruption, not just optimize in stable conditions
• Strong interest in bridging U.S. innovation with UAE execution, as the UAE continues to position itself as a global AI hub
• A clear push toward outputs—white papers, policy recommendations, and executive-level engagement that can influence decision-makers
The Advanced Technology and AI Committee is designed to be a working platform to translate expertise into tangible outcomes across the U.S.–UAE corridor.
This initiative reflects AmCham Abu Dhabi’s continued role as a platform for strategic dialogue, policy influence, and cross-border collaboration at the intersection of technology and business.
