Candidate’s Bio

Steve Bridgman is a healthcare engineer with a master’s degree in management. He has over 42 years of experience in construction program management; healthcare facility management; contract management, design management, construction management; training, operations, and risk management.  He has lived in the United Arab Emirates for a total of 26 years.  Currently he leads all facility maintenance and construction activities for Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, an iconic building of over 4 million square feet.

Mr. Bridgman is an Army veteran in the US Army Corps of Engineers.  Key assignments were in the 101^st Airborne Division, the 10^th Mountain Division and the 75^th Ranger Regiment where he was the first Engineer Officer of the Regiment.  He also served a tour with the New York District, US Army Corps of Engineers involved in the construction of the new Fort Drum.  His last assignment was a facility officer in the US Army Special Operations Command (Reserve).

He previously served as a Board Member of the American Business Group and was a Board Member when the name changed to AmCham Abu Dhabi.  He was the Committee Chairman for the Round Table Committee during his terms.
