Candidate’s Bio

Mark Bisch is a Partner at Baker Botts LLP and Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s UAE practice (overseeing its operations in the ADGM and Dubai) and is the Head of Baker Botts’ Middle East Corporate practice. With over 30 years of experience living and working in the UAE, Mark brings deep regional insight and a long-standing commitment to the business community in the UAE.

A strong advocate for the US–UAE commercial relationship, Mark is dedicated to strengthening bilateral trade and investment between the US and UAE. He actively supports companies navigating both inbound and outbound opportunities within the US-UAE investment corridor, helping drive growth, collaboration, and long-term economic partnership between the two markets.

Mark has played an active leadership role within the American business community in the UAE, previously serving as an officer and board member of AmCham Dubai. Through this engagement, Mark has contributed to advancing the interests of US businesses and fostering a vibrant, connected business environment.

Professionally, Mark advises international and domestic companies on a wide range of cross-border commercial matters, including M&A, JVS and other corporate transactions, strategic investments, and market entry and expansion strategies across the Middle East. Mark is known for his practical, business-focused approach and deep understanding of regional markets.
