Amandeep Bhangu is an award-winning British journalist with 10 years’ experience as a presenter-reporter for BBC TV News in her home city of London. Moving to the United Arab Emirates a decade ago, she has freelanced internationally for major broadcasters, filming in over 30 countries. Amandeep is a trusted MC-moderator of exclusive events, both in the UAE and worldwide, featuring senior government ministers, heads of industry, public icons and thought leaders. A highly experienced interviewer of panel discussions on a wide variety of specialist subjects, from international affairs, sustainability, aerospace, digital innovation, culture to socio-economic resilience. Amandeep holds a Masters and Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Cambridge, and recently undertook a journalism fellowship with the Carter Centre in the US. She has had the honour of meeting the late Queen Elizabeth II and this year ran her first, and likely last, marathon to mark 10 years in the UAE (4hr20m17s!)
