Exclusive Security Roundtable Discussion with High-Level Industrial Security Agreement (ISA) Delegation 

AmCham Abu Dhabi hosted a high-level security roundtable featuring a delegation of senior U.S. security officials.



The event was led by AmCham Abu Dhabi Chairperson Lina El Labban Lampkin, and Co-Chair of the Defense and Aerospace Committee, Board Director, Sharief Fahmy.

The event was also attended by AmCham Abu Dhabi, Vice Chair Courtney Sader and Board Director Rula Dajani as well as Defense and Aerospace committee members such as Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, Remah International Group, Parsons Corporation, Terma Group, L3Harris Technologies, UAE Ministry of Defense, U.S. Mission to the UAE.



The discussion centered on a critical component of the U.S.-U.A.E. Major Defense Partnership-the Industrial Security Agreement (ISA). This important framework reinforces long-term security cooperation, strengthens trust, and ensures sensitive information is safeguarded to enable U.S. industry participation in classified programs.


AmCham Abu Dhabi was privileged to welcome Melissa Casey from the Political Military Affairs office at the U.S. Mission Abu Dhabi and the distinguished delegation:

• Eric Trismen – Advisor for Regional Engagement in the Middle East and North Africa, Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA)
• Jeffrey Cavano – Chief, International & Special Programs Division, Industrial Security Directorate, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency
• Patrick Sweeney – Senior Security Specialist for Technology Security, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency

This roundtable provided an invaluable opportunity to strengthen dialogue, deepen trust, and advance collaboration in defense and security between the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
