Candidate’s Bio
Fahad Al Mheiri is Boeing President for the Middle East Gulf and North Africa, based in Dubai. He is responsible for coordinating all company-wide activities in the region, driving strategic initiatives, and enhancing partnerships with customers, suppliers, government entities, and other stakeholders across the region.
Al Mheiri’s responsibilities include overseeing government affairs, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering industrial partnerships that align with Boeing’s objectives in one of the world’s most dynamic aerospace markets. In addition, he is responsible for university partnerships and corporate citizenship projects that contribute to the local communities and support local talent and the growth of the aerospace sector.
Before joining Boeing in January 2026, Fahad served as the Managing Director at Raytheon Emirates, where he successfully developed the defense industry strategy and fostered key relationships within the UAE’s aerospace ecosystem. His leadership was instrumental in driving business growth and advancing regional security initiatives.
Fahad’s extensive background includes serving as the Acting Executive Director of the UAE Space Sector at the United Arab Emirates Space Agency (UAESA), where he oversaw space policy, education initiatives, and mission management. He also held the position of Executive Director of Business Development at the Emirates Defense Industries Company (EDIC), representing UAE shareholders in international joint ventures and taking on various leadership roles, including acting CEO of Bayanat LLC and EDIC Technical Services.
Earlier in his career, Fahad launched the UAE’s first Air Quality remote sensing project in collaboration with Masdar Institute, focusing on developing algorithms for air quality monitoring.
Fahad holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University.
