Candidate’s Bio
Na’am Jamshed is a senior healthcare and life sciences executive with over 25 years of leadership experience across EMEA, including the UK, Middle East, Africa, Russia, CIS, and Turkey. She is the Founder and CEO of Bridge X Advisory, a UAE-based strategic advisory firm focused on healthcare transformation, governance, policy, and stakeholder engagement.
Previously, Na’am served as Head of Government Affairs & Policy for EMEA Emerging Markets at Johnson & Johnson, where she led complex, multi-market initiatives across governments,
regulators, industry associations, and healthcare systems. She played a pivotal role in shaping healthcare policy, strengthening market access, advancing patient access to innovation, and driving long-term system transformation across emerging markets. She also served on the EMEA Government Affairs & Policy Board and the Emerging Markets Innovative Medicines Board.
Earlier in her career, Na’am held senior leadership roles at GSK, MSD, and Merck Group across Commercial Strategy, Government Affairs, Market Access, and Corporate Communications. She has a strong track record of aligning global strategy with local market priorities and delivering
sustainable growth and policy impact within complex and evolving regulatory environments.
A recognised leader in healthcare policy and public-private collaboration, Na’am serves on the Board of AmCham Abu Dhabi, where she chairs the Programs Committee, HR Committee, and Healthcare & Life Sciences Committee. She has also held leadership roles with PhRMA Middle East & Africa and MECOMED, contributing to regional initiatives focused on policy innovation,
intellectual property, and healthcare access.
Recognised among the “50 Most Inspirational Women in Leadership – Middle East” in 2023, 2024, and 2025, Na’am is a strong advocate for inclusive leadership and organisational culture
transformation. She previously served as Executive Sponsor of the Women Leadership & Inclusion Chapter at Johnson & Johnson Middle East.
A pharmacist by training, Na’am holds an MSc from the University of Bradford, has completed executive leadership programs at MIT Sloan School of Management, and holds a Non-Executive Director Diploma from the Financial Times Board Director Programme. She brings deep expertise in corporate governance, strategic transformation, stakeholder engagement, and public-private
partnership leadership.
