Na’am has over 23 years of experience within the Healthcare Industry, most recently in the function of Government Affairs and Policy.
Na’am is currently leading the Government Affairs & Policy function across Emerging Markets, covering Middle East, Africa, Russia, CIS & Turkey and is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Throughout her professional career, Na’am has spent time in Emerging Markets and the in the United Kingdom. In additional to her role in leading the Emerging Markets, Na’am also, leads Johnson and Johnson’s global strategic platform around advancing “Sustainable Healthcare Systems”. She also, serves on the global Government Affairs and Policy Academy board, tailored to build strategic capabilities globally.
Na’am joined Johnson and Johnson in January 2017 in the capacity of Senior Director, Government Affairs and Policy, Middle East. Na’am represents Johnson and Johnson with government officials, regulators, payers, trade partners and multiple industry associations across the region. Her role supports shaping healthcare policy in the region and driving strategic Public Private Partnerships.
Prior to joining Johnson and Johnson, Na’am established Government Affairs, Market Access and communication functions in GSK and Merck. She also, assumed multiple regional roles of increasing responsibility in commercial and marketing functions within the Healthcare Industry, including Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Health and Medical Devices.
Na’am established and sponsored (WLI) Women Leadership Initiative Chapter in GSK. She is very passionate in supporting the inclusion, equity and diversity agenda for women who are key catalysts for creating a healthier future. Na’am continues to lead this area as the executive sponsor for Women Leadership and Inclusion Middle East Chapter for Johnson and Johnson.
Na’am holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy, a Postgraduate Degree in Science “Pharmaceutical Services and Medicine Control” from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom and an executive leadership program at MIT Sloan School of Management.
