Tamer possesses over 23 years of expertise in the healthcare sector, having held leadership roles in renowned multinational companies like MSD, Novartis, and Pfizer. Tamer’s career highlights include securing impactful public-private partnerships in the GCC region, focusing on public health awareness and patient access. Tamer’s extensive background includes management, marketing, business development, operations and strategic positions.

Tamer is a dedicated advocate for global health and serves on several high-profile advisory boards and trade associations. He is currently chairing the healthcare committee at AMCHAM Kuwait and co-chairing the healthcare committee at AMCHAM Abu Dhabi and Dubai. His profound presence was evident in his selection among the top 40 healthcare leading figures behind a booming healthcare industry in the Middle East by Arabian Business.

Tamer is driven by a passion for volunteering, dedicating his time to initiatives enhancing capabilities building such as mentorship programs, where he was a mentor at Be Bold program in collaboration with the Ministry of Health in the UAE, and is an advocate for CSR initiatives.

Tamer holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Alexandria University in Egypt, complemented by an MBA from Edinburgh Business School – Heriot Watt University in the UK. His unique blend of technical expertise and strategic acumen positions him as a dynamic leader in the pursuit of advancing sustainable healthcare and fostering global health.

He lives in Dubai, UAE with his wife, daughter and son.
