Belgacem has intensive global industry expertise and have been engaged with various boards
in different capacities. He holds double MSC (Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, US and Reservoir Geoscience and Engineering from IFP, Paris, France). Additionally, he also holds an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management – Erasmus University- Netherlands as well as a Strategic Management and finance certificates from IMD School at Switzerland.

Started his career as a Geophysicist and Seismic Engineer twenty-five years ago, held several
fields, operational, technical, HR, Supply Chain, Integration and managerial position across different continents and product businesses. Moved on to senior leadership roles in the oil & gas
field construction, exploration & production sectors, managed organizations in excess of thousands of employees and sizeable revenue. He has experience in both private as well as publicly trading companies in the US and the UK.

Now leading Weatherford International across Middle East & North Africa. Widely recognized as a proactive leader with exemplary business, Managerial and Motivational skills with an outstanding track record managing and developing key accounts and maximizing sustainable returns to shareholders. Valued as an innovative and resourceful, results-oriented partner and trusted senior leader with excellent negotiation skills and proven ability to capitalize on business opportunities and managing very complex businesses and projects.

He developed a very large professional global networks throughout his career. Success informed by an in depth understanding of working globally and in particular in the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, US and Europe with national, regional and international companies with a reputation for integrity, fairness, hard work, creativity, inspiration and resilience. Proven success leading and implementing integration strategy and developing innovative & new business within the Energy Industry.

He is proficient in English, French and Arabic. He has been engaged with SPE & PMI as registered Member and currently active in Various Oil & Gas events and conferences.
