Position:         Marketing Communications Intern

Duration:        November – December 2025

Hours: Maximum 20 hours per week

Job Summary: The Marketing Communications Intern will assist the Communications Specialist, Programs / Marketing Manager in executing marketing and communication activities to promote AmCham Abu Dhabi’s programs, events, and initiatives. This position offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, branding, and event promotion, while providing an opportunity to learn about marketing communications in a professional, international business environment.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Communications Support

  • Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X).
  • Help maintain brand consistency across digital and print materials.
  • Support the preparation of marketing materials for events, including flyers, banners, and digital invitations.
  • Assist in compiling marketing reports and tracking campaign performance metrics.
  • Help update and maintain contact lists and databases for marketing outreach.
  • Design graphics (flyers, invitations, banners) using the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop)

Event Promotion

  • Coordinate with the Programs / Marketing Manager and Events team to promote AmCham Abu Dhabi events.
  • Assist in event registration and onsite marketing tasks (e.g., photo coverage, social media updates).
  • Support pre- and post-event communications and recap activities.

Digital Marketing & Communications

  • Help with content creation for newsletters, email campaigns, and website updates.
  • Support monitoring and responding to engagement on AmCham’s social media channels.
  • Conduct basic research on marketing trends, best practices, and audience engagement strategies.

Administrative & General Tasks

  • Provide support in organizing digital assets (photos, videos, templates, and marketing materials).
  • Maintain an organized file structure for marketing projects.
  • Assist with other tasks or special projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in marketing, branding, and digital communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X).
  • Basic knowledge of design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, or Canva) is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM, CMS and Email Marketing tools (WordPress, MailChimp or similar) is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of photo and video editing is an advantage
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude.
