Lina Lampkin is an education expert with more than 20 years of experience designing and implementing strategies, policies, programs and budgets in the education sector.
She has worked for the US government managing the Department of State grant for education advising at the US Embassy in Abu Dhabi and then moved to managing education programs in Abu Dhabi at the General Secretariat of the Executive Council. Lina worked at the local and federal level education entities in the UAE supporting their agendas and strategic objectives by leading divisions in the Abu Dhabi department of education and knowledge to supporting leadership at the ministry of education within an advisory capacity. Lina currently is an adviser at the Salama Bint Hamdan foundation.
Lina is married to Vandy Lampkin, a retired Airforce officer who is a senior adviser at the UAE ministry of defense and they are the proud parents of Christian Lampkin who is pursuing his PhD in music in the US as well as Rayyan and Kayden Lampkin who are studying at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi.
