Na’am Jamshed is a seasoned healthcare strategist with over 25 years of cross-sector leadership across the Emerging Markets of EMEA – including the Middle East, Africa, Russia, the CIS, and Turkey. She is the Founder and CEO of BridgeX Advisory, a UAE based firm focused on advancing innovation, policy reform, and governance excellence in the Life Sciences sector.

Previously, Na’am served as Head of Government Affairs & Policy for EMEA – Emerging Markets at Johnson & Johnson, where she led multi-stakeholder initiatives with governments, regulators, and industry bodies. Her work was pivotal in shaping healthcare policy, expanding patient access, and supporting long-term system transformation. She also, served on both the EMEA Government Affairs & Policy Board and the Emerging Markets Innovative Medicines Board.

Her earlier career includes leadership roles at GSK, MSD, and Merck, where she built and led regional functions across Commercial, Government Affairs, Market Access, and Communications. Throughout her journey, she has successfully aligned global strategies with local priorities, delivering measurable impact across complex and dynamic regulatory environments.

Na’am is also a prominent voice in regional health policy and advocacy. She serves on the Board of AmCham Abu Dhabi, she also, chairs the Healthcare Committee, and has held leadership positions with PhRMA MEA and MECOMED, driving policy innovation, access to medicines, and IP protection.

Recognized among the “50 Most Inspirational Women in Leadership – Middle East” in 2023 and 2024, she is a passionate advocate for equity and inclusion. She previously served as Executive Sponsor of the Women Leadership & Inclusion (WLI) Chapter at Johnson & Johnson Middle East.

A pharmacist by training, Na’am holds an MSc from the University of Bradford (UK) and has completed executive leadership programs at MIT Sloan. She aspires to continue contributing in a Non-Executive Board Director capacity, bringing deep expertise in corporate governance, strategy, and public-private collaboration.
