Jay Huston was born and raised in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, USA. He currently serves as Effectors Lead for Raytheon Emirates Ltd, a Raytheon Technologies company. He previously served as General Manager, Orbital ATK Middle East LLC (Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems (NGIS) entity) in Abu Dhabi. Prior to NGIS he served as General Manger, Textron International Inc. in Abu Dhabi. Raytheon Technologies is known as a global leaders in aerospace and defense technologies.
Jay previously served 34 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, (enlisted and officer). As a Colonel, he was Commanding Officer, 24 Marine Regiment (3300+ Marines & Sailors) and served in combat in Iraq as Security Battalion Commander (900+ Marines & Sailors). His staff tours included service as Military Assistant to the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy; J-5 Joint Staff, Pentagon during 9/11 attack; and Acting Chief/Deputy Chief, U.S. Military Training Mission, Saudi Arabia.
Jay holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the State University of New York, Stony Brook; Master’s in Management from St. Mary College, Leavenworth, Kansas; and Master’s in National Resource Strategy (Distinguished Graduate) from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. Jay currently serves as the Chairman Emeritus, AmCham Abu Dhabi and chairs the Defense, Aerospace and Security Committee.
