The event took place at the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island, a corporate member of AmCham Abu Dhabi.
Distinguished keynote remarks were delivered by our invited speakers H.E. Dr. Noura Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, and U.S. Ambassador to the U.A.E. Squire Patton Boggs (SPB) partners Shannon Reaves and Bridget McGovern will present and host a discussion on the U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). As CFIUS rises in prominence in the U.S. due to its expanding authority over foreign investment, this presentation and discussion will address the full scope of CFIUS jurisdiction, industries of most sensitivity, successful structuring of transactions before CFIUS, and the new Trump Administration National Security Policy Memorandum, including the changes it outlines for CFIUS policy going forward.
